The HeartStart HS1 defibrillator from Philips offers easy operation through a 3-step system. The user is supported by voice instructions. The defibrillator has a Quick Shock function, which allows shock delivery in under 8 sec. The guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council are fulfilled by the defibrillator. The defibrillator is protected against vertically falling dripping water according to the IP21 protection class. Free from maintenance is through regular self-tests. These self-tests are performed daily, weekly and monthly.
The defibrillator has a size of 21 x 19 x 7 cm and weighs 1.5 kg.
Within Germany, on-site instruction is included in the device price. The purchase price also includes a wall box with alarm function, a preparation set and an information sign for the defibrillator. The information sign has a size of 20x20 cm and glows in the dark.
