Askina® SilNet by B.Braun are soft silicone wound contact layers that are non-adherent and can be worn safely over several days.
These wound contact layers are coated on both sides with soft silicone, so either side can face the wound. The wound contact layer conforms to the wound surface and adheres safely to the healthy skin surrounding it. Thus, the wound site is protected from mechanical disruption during dressing changes. The silicone layers allow the passage of exudate through the dressing.
