Leg & Foot Models - Anatomical Models
In our product portfolio we offer leg and foot models in different versions and sizes. Plastic representations of specific clinical pictures are also offered. The different leg and foot models offer a clear basis for patient education and are also suitable for medical training or school lessons. Many of the models on tripods can be removed for explanatory purposes and easily be reattached.
If you have any questions about the leg and foot models or other items from our range, please do not hesitate to contact us. We have compiled further information for you at the end of this page.
Different types of leg & foot models
Our range of products includes a wide selection of human leg and foot models that depict lifelike images of bones with or without muscles. You can also find life-size training legs with realistic artificial skin as well as three-dimensional anatomical models with replicas of important ligaments, tendons and vascular systems. You will also find particularly clear enlargements of individual joints. Furthermore, modern training leg models are offered for training prospective doctors and paramedics, on which wound care and bandage technology can be practiced.
Anatomical Leg & Foot Models
The leg and foot models we offer show, depending on the product, the structure of the musculoskeletal system and blood vessels and nerves - for example, as a plastic model in cross-section. Corresponding leg and foot models are available for three-dimensional mapping of various diseases as well as malformations, malpositions or signs of wear and tear. This includes, among other things, foot models that are open and allow an insight into bones, joints, ligaments, as well as fat and muscle tissue. We also offer you bone models that simulate diseases such as osteoporosis, arthritis or joint cartilage damage.
Realistic Training Leg Models
Modern training legs or suture legs are often movable and have an artificial skin cover as well as muscular and bony structures that can be felt underneath. The artificial coating simulates the appearance and strength of human skin. For practice purposes, the artificial skin can be punctured, incised and sewn like real skin. Depending on the model, the training legs or suture training legs are suitable for practicing subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, various suturing techniques, removing sutures and inserting drains.
