Stocking Donners in different Designs
Stocking donners help people with restricted mobility to put on stockings and tights. These tight-fitting garments usually require flexibility and dexterity. With the stocking pullers from our range, excessive hip flexing or stooping is avoided. You can choose between different versions of these practical dressing aids. Together with shoehorns as well as button aids and zip aids, they allow for a high degree of independence in everyday life.
The range includes, for example, flexible plastic trays with notches for hooking the stockings or tights. Some models have terry cloth covers that can be hand-washed. The shells are provided with cotton straps to pull the stockings up on the leg.
Another alternative is robust brevettes made of tubular steel. These donning aids have two sides - one for taking off shoes and the other with notches for putting on stockings.
For putting on compression stockings, you can choose between special wire devices with a coated surface or latex gloves with nubby gripping surfaces. While the use of the gloves still requires a certain degree of mobility, the wire racks provided with handles can be used without bending down.
