Through negative pressure in the syringe, students and those who practice can conduct a central venepuncture. An immediate back flow of air pressure signals a faulty puncture of the lung. This innovative technique enables a high degree of self-monitoring during practice. An ultrasound-guided central venepuncture enables practicing the puncture of the internal jugular vein, the puncture of the subclavian vein, as well as the vein above the calvicle. By inserting a needle, fake blood can be drawn.
