Primarily for the management of all external wounds, suitable for treating superficial wounds, moderately to heavily exuding and deep wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, venous/arterial ulcers, graft donor sites, and surgical wounds. For deep wounds, please use Sorbalgon T Classic.
Sorbalgon Classic/Sorbalgon TClassic alginate is made from natural fibers derived from seaweed. It offers rapid and strong absorbency. Alginate absorbs wound exudate and forms a gel-like layer over the wound, creating a moist wound healing environment that accelerates the healing process and contributes to hemostasis. The gel-like surface also ensures that the dressing does not adhere to the wound and can be removed with minimal pain. Composition: • Calcium alginate • Sodium alginate
